My tax problem was created by a combination of my mistake and an IRS mistake, making the issue complex. Shortly after submitting my tax return, the IRS sent me a letter claiming I owed them $1500, so I immediately paid them to avoid penalties. But on reviewing my tax return details I discovered the IRS made a mistake, so they then owed me $1500. The IRS denied their mistake and said they required receipts of transactions to prove they owed me $1500. Since all transactions were made on the internet, there were no receipts. It was difficult, but Tammie helped me recover the $1500 that IRS owed me.
