However, having experienced the do-it-yourself method to tax reviews with the IRS, I finally decided to purchase this extra service offering. Without reservation, I would buy it again! In my most recent experience, Tax Resources, discovered that the IRS messed up and actually sent deficiency notices to many taxpayers, including my family, without ever notifying them that they were under review. My team at TaxResources took charge, instructed me on what documents to provide them, and they actually took my case to the Tax Appeals court, where our original filing was found to be correct, as expected. It is a high-anxiety process anytime one deals with the IRS; however, my Tax Resources representative did her best to make it less stressful and efficient. Now, in an unheard of move of great customer service: when you call these people they either personally answer their telephone, or call you back in a timely, professional manner and keep you updated on your case's progress.
